Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Most enriching, broadening, and personal defining experience; gave me a
strong sense of personal strength and need for cooperation and flexibility.
Realized how difficult it is to instrument change in a short time, even when
one can speak the language. Ideals and concepts, religion and beliefs have
more to do with how we interact.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Normal Russell, Barbara Bazil, Elaine Hamlin - any from the January 1967
Brattleboro/Putney VT training group
Any message for returned volunteers?:
Hello and isn't it amazing to see how Kabul has changed and yet remained
the same since we were there?
