Guatemala to study Spanish for 2 months prior to moving to Quito, Ecuador to
teach English with the Fulbright Commission. I hadn't taught English prior to
going to the Philippines and wanted to get that experience. Upon returning to
the US, last July, after 4 years abroad I decided to get additional experience
in health education with the hopes of returning to PC in 5 years and serving in
another country in that field. Health seems more of a basic need than English

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
It was a tremendous growing experience for me and I look forward to doing it

I worked with Judy Sterry in the Department of Education, La Union Division, San Fernando, La Union during her inclusive years of stay here in the Philippines. I have retired from the DepEd as the Division Music Coordinator. I'm going back to the states in August and will stay there until Nov.21. I have a niece and her family who live in Seattle. I hope I have the chance to meet Judy Sterry, a co-worker and a friend who had spent 2 week ends at home in Luna, La Union Philippines. Please help me get in touch with her. Thank you!
