Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
Upon returning to Michigan I taught in a 5th grade classroom 1 year, completed a MA in Counseling, and moved to Minnesota where I met my fiancee, Kim. We will be married on June 28, 2003. I currently work as an international student counselor and advisor at the University of Minnesota and am working on a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration with a focus in international educational exchange.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
I look back upon my experience in Kiribati with fondness and plan to return for a visit within the next few years. My experiece as a PCV had a profound impact on my decision to work in the field of international education.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
I like to especially hear from any K-22 Volunteers and anyone who has volunteered on Kuria.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
To the volunteers with whom I served: I hope to meet you again some day.
