Work Description:

Worked at the Liberian Rural Communications Network (LRCN) teaching host country Nationals how to air radio broadcasts.

Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

Married Mary Hoagland, a Peace Corps volunteer who was also stationed in Monrovia. We have two children, Molly and Lucas. In the summer of 2005, we will be taking the children on safari to Kenya.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

Nick Bell, a forestry volunteer who served in Liberia from 82-86 died on July 23, 2004 while preparing for a triathalon. He was struck by a car while riding his bike in Michigan's upper peninsula. He leaves behind his wife, Teresa and a 9 year old son, William.
