Country of Service: Malawi

Training Group: Community Health

Cities you served in: Chinguluwe

Arrival Year: 2000

Departure Year: 2002

Work Description:

Officially, I was a community health volunteer, primarily working with HIV/AIDS. Unofficially, I worked mostly with shallow wells, fish ponds and eco sanitation.

Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

After COS, I traveled around Africa for five months. Just weeks after arriving home in December 2002, I got a job for Men's Wearhouse, was promoted easily and stayed with them until just recently. Now I am working as a loan processor for my boyfriend until I go to grad school in January.
