Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
After Peace Corps, I pursued my doctoral studies in comparative literature. Presently teaching in Nothern California at National University.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
An excellent opportunity to expand my horizons and intimately experience other ways of doing and seeing things. I was able to understand that our culture has certain ways of viewing the world, and that those views are not universal necessarily universal. It was only after returning home that I understood the importance of experiencing other cultures as a way of understanding the United States at deeper level.
