Hi!
I taught biology at Chayamba SS - which is about halfway between Kasungu and Mtunthama - from '90 to '92. I can't imagine they would have volunteers at Kamuzu Academy, and Chayamba was just about it except Kasungu SS, and they had WUSC or Canadian volunteers there in my time. Since you didn't specifiy the actual school, I'm curious as to where you taught. I'd also love to know if you ever met Happy Banda (it's a name hard to forget!) who was my worker for a time, and a great guy. My later worker was Francis Nkmenya (sp?), and I would love to find out how both of them, and their families, are doing, as well as any teachers at Chayamba. I loved it there - the whole area, not just Chayamba - In fact, the whole darn country - and would love to hear any more recent news. Thanks!
