I was trying to remember the exact years we served in Paraguay. It was in 1985, no?
After serving, I returned home and was on my way to Spain. Then I met my husband, John, who loved speaking Spanish. We married and then moved to Europe as teachers. 1st in Germany and then to the Canary Islands, Spain. That was back in 1990-1994.
We eventually moved back to Buffalo,[New York.]
I have been teaching art in the Buffalo Public Schools since then- [19th yr.]
Where are you, what are you up to? How are you? Do you keep in contact with anyone from our group? Are you in contact w/ a local RPCV?
Do you know where Peter is? He was the closest volunteer to me. I was in Cerro Punta. I did visit my site w/ John back in , I think '89. It was nice to see the neighbors and old site.Sad they tore down my hut over who owned it. All those improvements for naught!
