Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

I am married to Ben Ehlers, professor of Spanish History at UGA. We have 3 boys, Coles, Thomas and Andrew. I am slowly working on my PhD in Latin American Literature at UGA and I teach ESL.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

In a lot of ways my experience in Honduras made me who I am today. I married a fellow Spanish speaker who like me loves to travel and I still love the Spanish language and the culture of all Spanish speaking countries. My time there made me appreciate the world and my place in it in a profound way. I loved it.
