Hey, it's been 10 years since (Western) Samoa group 55 landed in country. If anyone knows where the Pisa Koa from 94-96 ended up please drop me an e-mail. I am also trying to find folks that were in Samoa from 96-98 that might have overlapped with my time working at USP Alafua. I would really like to get in touch and see how the world has treated you. Please send an e-mail.

Hello!
My name is Ali Shapiro, and I'm in Samoa on an independent study fellowship grant, studying the role of women in tattooing. I'll be in Samoa for another 5 weeks, and out of these 5 about 2 1/2 will be spent in Apia, including the week of the upcoming Teuila festival...
So: I'm looking for a way to stay in Apia for less than the average 40-50 tala a night - a place where I could rent a room (or even just a couch) and leave a bag when I travel around the island. I'm wondering if any volunteers out there have some space to spare, and could use a little extra cash...other than that, I can offer that I make a great omelette!
My email address is permanentmarkers@gmail.com. Let me know if anyone has any ideas!
Thanks,
Ali

I am an Australian (Tony Guihot) who was looking through some old photos of Western Samoa and am looking for two RPCVs who served in Western Samoa in 1987-1990 period. The first I shared a house with, Jay Jerde - from Casper Wyoming, taught accounting in Apia. I'm not sure what Jay got up to after returning home. The second, James (Jim) Luther, taught at a school on Savaii. He went to school at Auburn and when he returned home, Jim went to grad school in Missoula Montana but I lost track of him after that. I can be contacted on email address tonyguihot@hotmail.com
