PC underutilizes RPCVs through pushing only the minimal approach of
recruiting, occasional gatherings. PC also does not utilize or train well
those of us who went in as experienced middle aged professionals
with other overseas background, good language skills as well as
working background in cultural awareness, diversity etc.

I am currently finishing my third year as a volunteer in East Timor. I came to Timor in June 2002 with a group of third year volunteers to open a new Peace Corps post in the newest country in the world.
