International placement agency execs sell in Lincoln Square

David W. Berchenbriter and William J. Zwart sold a two-bedroom, three-bath condo at 62 W. 62nd St. in Lincoln Square to National Granite Accommodating Co., LLC for $1.3 million on July 23.
Unit #25C measures 1,314 square feet. The 27-story Allegro condominium was built in 1989 and houses 120 units.

Berchenbriter co-founded BerchWood Partners, an international placement agency with offices in New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and London. He has been in the business for more than 25 years specializing in buyout and acquisition, restructuring, venture capital and real estate.
Previously, he worked with C.P. Eaton Partners and as director of marketing and new product development at Amerindo Investment Advisors. Earlier, he held executive roles with Devon Capital Management, Sentinel Real Estate Corp. and Smith Barney. Formerly, he was a Peace Corps volunteer in Colombia.
He earned his B.B.A. in economics from the University of Iowa.
