'Travels in Uganda' presentation being offered at New Brunswick library

NEW BRUNSWICK - The New Brunswick Free Public Library, 60 Livingston Ave., will present a lecture and photographic slide show entitled "Travels in Uganda" at 6 p.m. on Oct. 1 in the Carl T. Valenti Community Room.
The presentation will be given by the library's Young Adult Librarian, Camille Thompson, who traveled to Uganda earlier this year.
Thompson will speak about her experiences in the east African country, which included donating books supplied by the Friends of the New Brunswick Free Public Library, and visiting a sanitation project conducted by her brother-in-law, a Peace Corps volunteer there.
