President Barzani, US Ambassador Hill reiterate support for joint security operations
Both President Barzani and the US Ambassador reiterated their support for a plan for joint security patrols and operations in the so-called disputed areas by the US, Iraqi and Kurdish Peshmerga forces. Cameroon RPCV Christopher R. Hill is presently US Ambassador to Iraq and formerly served as assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific Affairs and U.S. ambassador to South Korea.

President Barzani, US Ambassador Hill reiterate support for joint security operations
Kurdistan Region, Iraq (KRP.org) - Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani on Monday received Christopher Hill, the United States Ambassador to Iraq, and several officials from the US Embassy.
The meeting focused on recent political and security developments in Iraq, as well as relations between the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Iraqi federal government, and the upcoming general elections in Iraq which are slated for January 2010.
Both President Barzani and the US Ambassador reiterated their support for a plan for joint security patrols and operations in the so-called disputed areas by the US, Iraqi and Kurdish Peshmerga forces.
Following their meeting, President Barzani and Ambassador Hill visited the Barzan Anfal Memorial site and the last resting place of the late Mustafa Barzani and Idris Barzani to pay their respects.
