Where in the world is VIRGINA "GINGER" JOHNSTON of California and of Kenya Ed 2 (1967). That's her maiden name, presuming she may have married.

She taught in the most remote place PCVs might be sent to: Marsabit. Hardly ever saw her after training because of that.

A hip, relevant evangelical at the time.

My daughter is volunteering with Global Volunteer Network in Kenya and am wondering if any Peace Corps folks have an assessment of her safety given the 1/27/07 murders of Americans there?

Does anyone have any info on this Global Volunteers Network out of New Zealand? Thanks

I concur with all of you, teaching students is surely a thrill of life. I taught for four years and even though I've climbed the ladder up academically I really do treasure and cherish those years.

Hello,

I am an attorney in America representing Justin Odhiambo Mbai. Primarily, I am looking for anyone who knows how I can contact his family. Especially, Margaret or Catherine Mbai.

My client has confided with me that:

"Due to my present status as a student and registered refugee with United Nations High Commission for refugees here in Senegal. The above institution has directed that I provide a legal trustee who has credible business records to guarantee good management of the funds upon release from their Treasury. I am a Kenyan and have fled to Senegal because of political crisis in my country that killed my father Dr. Crispin Odhiambo Mbai, a political scientist. I was in the University as a political science student before the incident and that is the beginning of my ordeal. I am presently in Senegal for a temporary stay until I sort out this matter with Global Finance & Securities Ltd and then find my way to America to continue my education."

I am representing my client Justin Odhiambo Mbai as his Beneficiary and Trustee. I need to send Margaret or Catherine Mbai a "pdf" with the information and progress of protecting her son Justin. If you know how I can accomplish this, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Sincerely,

David McIlwain
