In 2006, Wilhelm and her husband Kevin Wilhelm ’95, established the Jennifer and Kevin Opdyke Wilhelm Scholarship to support a first-year student from Washington.

Macalester College Board of Trustees Elects New Members
St. Paul, Minn. - May 20, 2009 - At its May 15, 2009 meeting, the Macalester College Board of Trustees elected two new members for three-year terms:
Jennifer (Jo) Opdyke Wilhelm ’96, of Seattle, Wash. is an ecologist for the King County (Seattle) Department of Natural Resources and Parks. She majored in biology at Macalester and holds a master's in biology from the University of Michigan.
Prior to assuming her current role, she studied rainforest frogs, served in the Peace Corps in Zambia, Africa, and worked for the Nature Conservancy. In 2006, Wilhelm and her husband Kevin Wilhelm ’95, established the Jennifer and Kevin Opdyke Wilhelm Scholarship to support a first-year student from Washington.
