Bush has not made case for war, Dodd says

(Washington-AP) -- Senator Chris Dodd says President Bush has not yet made his case for war against Iraq.

Speaking Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press," Dodd said there was a lot of concern from senators following a briefing on Iraq from the White House Thursday. He says they were not given the information he would need to support immediate action against Iraq.

Dodd says he wants the president to give inspectors more time to make the case, and to build international support for military action.

Dodd says he has no doubt the U.S. could win a war against Iraq, without help from other nations. But he says foreign support will be needed to help rebuild Iraq after a war.

Dodd also said he'll made a decision in the next few weeks about whether to enter the presidential race.

Connecticut's other senator, Joe Lieberman, is already seeking the Democratic nomination.

Senator Dodd is much MORE than "a day late," and several BILLION dollars MORE than "a dollar short." He and Senator Lieberman should have voted AGAINST the invasion of Iraq by a hostile foriegn power (us) when they had the chance.

The ESL (sign language) sign for his error is the same as the sign for "the train has left the station!"
