Farewell from Dane Smith
At the close of four years of very satisfying work as President of the National Peace Corps Association, I want to convey my appreciation for the strong support and warm fellowship of NPCA members and Peace Corps veterans across the country and around the world. It has been a great privilege to work with you on strengthening the organization and its affiliate groups and promoting our mission of global education, service, advocacy and peace- building. One of my greatest pleasures and inspirations has been meeting with affiliate groups and members around the country and hearing story after story of extraordinary service both in this country and overseas. I'm confident you will give Kevin Quigley, our highly qualified new NPCA President, your enthusiastic support and good counsel, as he assumes his new duties. Many thanks.
Dane Smith
NPCA President
