Carol Bellamy steps down as World Learning President
Weinberg, who has served as World Learning's provost since 2005 and executive vice president since 2006, will succeed outgoing President and CEO Carol Bellamy September 1, 2009. Carol Bellamy was the first returned Volunteer (Guatemala 1963–65) to be confirmed by the Senate as director of the Peace Corps.

Dr. Adam S. Weinberg '87 has been named the next president and CEO of World Learning and SIT.

Weinberg, who has served as World Learning's provost since 2005 and executive vice president since 2006, will succeed outgoing President and CEO Carol Bellamy September 1, 2009.
World Learning is a global non-profit organization operating international education and development programs in more than 70 countries worldwide.
